Mary Klotz is a woman whose
life is overflowing with experiences and people. She has been married for thirty years, and
she and her husband have been blessed with seven children. Mary says, “Every time we’ve moved we’ve been
blessed with a new bundle of joy!” The
Klotz’s also have two grandchildren, and have shared their home with others
through the foster care program. At
Aldersgate Christian Academy, where she currently works as an administrative
assistant, Mary is affectionately known as “Momma Klotz.”
Mary’s professional resume
includes degrees in Intercultural Studies, Church and Family Ministries, and
Business. She is certified as both an EMT and Paramedic Assistant. She is also employed at Chick-fil-A, where
she loves to share her faith.
In addition to all of this,
Mary has dedicated her life to ministry.
She lived in Ghana, West Africa for fourteen years, and continues to
travel to foreign fields to help with ministries. For over three decades, Mary has given her
time to vacation Bible schools and children’s ministries. In the last twenty years, she has reached
into the realm of women’s ministry, including women’s retreats.
Mary loves to try new
foods. Her motto is this: If it doesn’t
crawl off my plate, I’m game! As a rule,
she doesn’t consider herself a chocolate lover, but once in awhile she just
can’t resist a salted Lindor caramel chocolate.
Mary’s sweetness, however, comes from within and spills over to everyone
she meets. An acquaintance of hers says,
“I have never seen a more giving, caring and encouraging person than Mary! She finds a positive when there are no
positives to be found.” Mary loves to be
an encouragement, and one of her favorite things to do is to bless someone
anonymously, giving them a “heart hug” from her Heavenly Father.
